Therapist Gus Murray talks about his fascinating work using EMDR therapy
In partnership with the EMDR All-Ireland Association, the charity Trauma Response Network Ireland has several volunteer EMDR therapists offering free therapy online in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. Frontline and key workers are being prioritised, but it is open to anyone severely traumatised by the pandemic. In the UK, Sean Gardner, a businessman caught up in the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017, together with EMDR therapists, founded Trauma Response Network, to provide ‘mental health first aid’ in the aftermath of a mass trauma event.
